This is a handwoven mid weight Ruana crafted with a wool warp stretched taught across a loom and woven with a variety of black, grey and white toned wool yarns. A variety of weaving techniques create a striking OOAK work unlike any other you'll find on the market. This piece is entirely wool with a small amount of wool/baby alpaca blend fibers worked in. The bottom of this ruin is machine hemmed for a clean and crisp look.

The Ruana can be worn a variety of different ways, from dressed up to casual with jeans and shirt. wearing both panels down creates more of a poncho look that provides ample warmth, it can also be worn with a belt like this creating more of a dress and cape style with more form. The panels can be thrown over the shoulder to create a different shape, leave one down for a cowl/poncho style or toss both for a cape effect. Feel free to play the piece and style it as you wish, that is the joy of such a simple shape.

Care: when not in use, hang or store rolled up to increase the longevity of the fibers. Spot treat when possible or Hand wash with cold water and hang to dry
